Space & airborne sensors

Problem Statement: During the last decade, the trend of space and airborne laboratories is well increasing. Corporates like SpacePharma are worldwide experts in the launch of satellites including mini-labs, which enable the research of biological and chemical samples under space conditions (micro-gravity, vacuum, radiations, varying temperatures and pressures, etc…). With the demand for more complex measurements, they need advanced measurement techniques, capable to work under these challenging conditions, both under contact and proximity modes.

Proposed Solution: ALEO Team, in collaboration with BIU, has developed series of new AFM-NOM combined sensors capable to be added to any AFM commercial system, and to provide advanced complementary information such as topography and photonics imaging, during the same measurement run.
