SERS

Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy

ALEO has designed an advanced Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) nanosensor array for use as a pH imager for real-time monitoring of chemical reactions. The shape of the nanostructures and the thickness of the metallic (Ag or Au) layer can be tuned to give maximal enhancement at the desired wavelength. Likewise, the number and arrangement of the nanostructures is optimized to obtain maximal responsivity.
